Lena Tsod is a Los Angeles–based director and creative producer working at the intersection of cinematic storytelling, brands, and emerging narrative formats. Her work in film, premium commercial campaigns, and concept-driven IP development is known for its visual impact and emotional punch.
The blend of backgrounds, independent cinema and branded work, is the key mechanism of Lena’s creative identity, informing a strong authorial voice capable of translating narrative depth through audience-driven formats. The through-line is work that feels inventive, sharp, and human.
She began her career as a photographer for MTV, then earned an MFA in Film Directing from Columbia University before building a career in advertising, working with global brands and agencies such as BBDO, Ford, Pepsi, Disney, and Visa. Her narrative work includes award-winning short films such as STORM (Palm Springs ShortFest, Beyond Fest, Sitges FF, HollyShorts), LOUISA AND ANNA’S FIRST FIGHT (Short of the Week, Director’s Notes), and STEREOSCOPE, a 10x10 horror series for Facebook Watch. Currently, Lena is partnering with forward-thinking companies across branded entertainment, new media, and emerging platforms to develop a handful of original narrative IP to be produced in 2026–2027, including a long-form version of STORM.
